he notebook guardian is a patented tamper-resistent anti-theft package that fits the standard security slot found on most notebooks. the uniquely designed lock and lock housing are made of stainless steel and durable chrome-plated zinc. they are attached to a 6-foot multi-strand galvanized steel security cable sheathed in thick black pvc. the security cable can be lassoed around a desk leg or crossbar to anchor the notebook to a stationary object. with convinient carrying pouch velcro strap and two keys. this is a custom keyed notebook lock. each notebook guardian is keyed differently but you can order a master key that will open any of the locks. this option is useful with our notebook theft prevention products because typically the end user retains the keys. in the event that a user loses his/her keys a supervisor can unlock the pc with the master key.
